For advisors that are apart of a broker dealer with an integrated compliance workflow you are able to submit any changes or new newsletters to compliance for approval directly through AdvisorStream. All changes will need compliance approval before the system will allow them to be sent, instructions on how to do this can be found here. Once compliance has approved your newsletter you will receive an email notifying you that your newsletter has been approved and is ready to be sent out to your contacts. You will also be able to check foe the latest updates directly from the Outbox.
To check the status of your newsletter simply follow the steps below.
- Click on the Outbox in the top menu bar.
- Select the newsletter and once approved by compliance a message will be displayed under the Comments section with the name of who approved it and a timestamp of when it was approved.
Note: If you are on the Semi-automated workflow you must still approve the newsletter in order for it to go Friday afternoon. To learn how click here.
If you are on the Fully-automated workflow the newsletter will go out automatically on Friday afternoon.
If compliance approves it after the deadline (Friday at 11:00 AM ET) you will need to manually send the newsletter. To learn how click here.
