A critical component of setting up a Campaign is choosing the audience. Campaigns are all about breaking your contact list into subsections/segments and targeting information to niches of clients and prospects.
You can choose to enroll an individual contact, multiple contacts manually by beginning to type their name/email or choose from your segmented contact list(s). You can also add a contact that does not exist within your Contacts Dashboard by directly typing in their email address, this will also add the contact to your Contacts Dashboard.
When creating a new Campaign, enrolling is the final step in the setup process, however, you can always save the Campaign and return to this step at a later date before setting it live. You must enroll contact(s) in order for the Campaign to be live. You can also revisit a live Campaign and enroll or remove contacts/ lists of contacts at any time.
*Please note, the max recipient contact for a Campaign is 300 active emails. A unique contact will only be enrolled in one active Campaign at a time. If you attempt to enroll the same contact in a different Campaign you will be notified that the contact is already enrolled in an active Campaign.
Adding a new contact(s) or list of contacts to a Live Campaign:
Begin by heading to the Campaign Dashboard of your AdvisorStream account.
- Step 1: From the left side menu click My Campaigns.
- Step 2: Click View.
- Step 3: Type the name/ email address, or select from the Contact list(s) - max 300 contacts.
- Step 4: Click the Enroll button and choose to send the first email within the Campaign now or delay it for the next available scheduled time.

Removing a contact(s) or list of contacts from a Live Campaign:
Begin by heading to the Campaign Dashboard of your AdvisorStream account.
- Step 1: Click View on the Campaign you wish to update.
- Step 2: Select Active to see all contacts that are currently Enrolled in the Campaign.
- Step 3: Click on the name of the individual you wish to remove.
- Step 4: Click Actions on the right-hand side and select Cancel.
- Step 5: You will be asked to confirm to cancel the Campaign for the contact. Removing contacts can only be executed at the individual level and not an entire list(s).
*Note once canceled this action cannot be undone. If you cancel a contract and re-enroll them, they would begin at the beginning of the drip sequence.
