A Team Lead Account allows Enterprise home office users to have the capability to have access to all users within their network and work on behalf of their advisors, a process known as "impersonation" or "on-behalf-of." This capability is used to streamline operations across the organization.
Step 1: Begin by clicking on your name in the top right corner.
Step 2: From the drop down select Supervised Users. This access point is where you can manage which advisors you can impersonate.
* For compliance reviewers, there's an additional step of clicking on Switch User from the top purple banner, leading to the same Supervised Users section.
Step 3: In this section, you'll see a list of advisors you are designated to manage. This assignment reflects your role as a team lead within the organization, giving you oversight and interaction privileges with these accounts.
Step 4: The Action Column provides specific tools and options for managing an advisor's account. You have the following options:
-
- Library: Access and manage the advisor's content library.
- Outbox: View activity history (past and present).
- Reports: Review reports pertinent to the advisor's activities.
- Account & Settings: Adjust configurations and preferences for the advisor's account.
Selecting one of the options from the Action Column will switch you into the advisor's account. Here, you can operate as if you were the advisor, allowing you to send communications, manage content, or perform other necessary actions on their behalf.
Please note that we do not distinguish between actions taken by a team lead or an advisor, nor do we maintain a log of activities indicating who performed specific actions.
Step 5: To end the impersonation session, click your name in the top right corner once more and choose Release. This action logs you out from the advisor's account, returning you to your own account interface.
