The Awaiting Review is where you can find a history of all past and current communications including newsletters, social media posts, website posts, direct emails, and campaigns. Your AdvisorStream Awaiting Review section allows you to review the status of a communication that advisors submit.
In this article you’ll learn how to navigate the Awaiting Review, the meaning of each status and how to approve, reject or leave a comment internally with your colleague in the compliance department.
Awaiting Approval > In Progress -Newsletter(s), social post(s) and direct emails that are awaiting your approval, you must approve in order for the advisor to send/post.
Take Action: Click on the communication title to expand options, here you can approve, decline, or add a comment internally before approving or rejecting.
Newsletter - Newsletter includes the introduction and articles. If you have Global Approval enabled, please note that approving the newsletter adds the attached articles to the pool of Global Approval.

Decline
- If there is a specific article, a sentence or word in the Introduction or a simple spelling error. Make sure to add notes when declining.

Approve
- If everything looks good.

Comment
Great to use if you need another member on team to review the communication and you are unsure of approving or rejecting.
Social Media & Web Posts:
If you have selected an article, it does display the social channel(s) the content will post too. It will also include the custom message if an advisor has added one.

Decline
- Article may not be compliant. Make sure to add notes when declining.

- If the content and/or messaging is compliant.

Delete
- Allows you to delete the post stopping it from going out.

Refresh
- Allows you to refresh the post in the event it has not gone out at the scheduled time.

Direct Email/ Campaigns/eCards:
If you have selected a Direct Email, here you may need to view the article that requires approval and/or the custom message that the advisor enters.

Approve
-If communication is compliance, click the thumbs up to approve.

Comment
- Great to use if you need another member on team to review and you are unsure of approving or rejecting the communication.

Delete
- Allows you to delete the post stopping it from going out.

Refresh
- Allows you to refresh the post in the event it has not gone out at the scheduled time
- Multi Select allows you to select more than 1 communication at a time, and choose to delete, or refresh in bulk.
