How to Add a Social Account to AdvisorStream?

Each AdvisorStream subscription allows you to add 1 LinkedIn account which will include all connected LinkedIn company page(s), 1 Facebook account which will allow access to all connected business page(s), 1 Twitter account, and an advisor websites. 

Generally, everyone has one social profile per account when they sign up with a social network, like Twitter. Facebook and LinkedIn are a little different. With these social networks, you can have multiple account types, including your personal profile, as well as Pages or Groups. Pages are also considered account types in AdvisorStream. 

Supported account types

AdvisorStream supports the following account types:

NOTE: Social media accounts will need to be reconnected every ~365 days for security purposes. A notification will be sent when a post was unsuccessful and re-connecting is necessary.


In order to connect a social media account, you will have to begin by heading to your Account & Settings and then the Social Networks Tab. As seen below:

Once you have reached the Social Networks tab you are able to connected your social media account by following the instructions below for the account type you wish to connect.

Note: You can only connect one LinkedIn account per AdvisorStream login. However, with Facebook and LinkedIn you can share to all Pages you manage. If you are part of a team and would like a separate account to post to your personal LinkedIn Account, AdvisorStream offers Social Media Only accounts for this purpose.
