A Recurring eCard will send annually on the specific occasion selected (e.g Birthday, Client Anniversary, Holiday). This is a great way of establishing a consistently personalized touchpoint with investors.
In this article, you will learn how to set up and manage a recurring eCard.
How to Create a Recurring eCard
- Start off by heading to the eCards Dashboard.
- Use the theme filters along the top to find the desired eCard.
- Click on the card to launch the Build eCard tool.

When should this card be sent? - From the drop-down select recurring.

Cards should be sent on -Choose the appropriate holiday. If you choose Birthday or Anniversary, the platform will choose the date listed under the Contact(s) record Birthday or Anniversary fields and send it then. If these fields are blank, the eCard will not be sent to the client/prospect.
- What time should cards be sent? - Select the time of day you would like the card to be sent.
- Click Continue.
__________________________________________ - Send to Field - select who you would like to send the eCard to using the dropdown, this can be an individual, a group of individuals, or a contact list(s).
- Persona & Branding - choose the appropriate persona & branding
- Add your Greeting & Salutation
- Message - Choose to edit the prewritten messaging.
- Card Background Color - option to set a card background color (if choosing a dark color for the background, change the text color to a lighter shade)
- Preview - click the preview to review the eCard before saving and sending it.
- Once you are happy with how it looks click Save & Close to schedule the eCard.
How to Edit a Recurring eCard
- Start off by heading to the eCards Dashboard.
- Above the eCards click the you have [x] recurring cards button.
- Click on the image of the card to edit.
- This will launch the Build eCard tool.
- Choose to change the holiday date/ time the ecard is sent.
- *Note If editing a prebuilt card the image cannot be updated, if editing a custom card you can remove the image and upload a new one.
- Click Next to edit the contacts, greeting, and/or message
- Click Preview to review your changes
- Once you are happy with how it looks click Save & Close to schedule the eCard.
*Please note: for some clients under integrated compliance supervision you may be required to submit your recurring eCard for review.
Once you have created your recurring eCard, click into the Outbox of your account and into In Progress, from here find the eCard you have created and clicking on the title to expand the options on the right hand side >> from here click the Submit for Review symbol.
Managing Contacts Birthday and/or Anniversaries for eCards
The Contacts section within your account is what powers who receives your eCards. If sending a birthday card, or client anniversary card, you'll need to add client birthdays/anniversaries within the Contact record of your Contacts Dashboard.
