The AdvisorStream Outbox is where you can see all of the communications AdvisorStream is planning on sending out for you as well as communications you have already sent or shared. In some circumstances there can be problems when the system was attempting to send or share a communication. If this happens you will receive an error message associated with this communication in the Outbox. This article will go over the potential error messages that may appear and their meaning.
Twitter Error:
Our developers are working very closely with Twitter to correct this error. At this time, the error is originating on Twitter’s end and is widely spread to all Twitter vendors/ partners.
In the meantime, we encourage you to follow the steps below:
- Head to your Social Networks and disconnect Twitter for 72 hours, reconnect it after the 72-hour hold and attempt to resume posting.
- Head into your Twitter User Settings, and change the email address on your Twitter account, then head back into your AdvisorStream Social Networks, disconnect and reconnect it.
Alternatively, you can share content from your LinkedIn or Facebook to your Twitter by clicking the sharing links on the right of the article landing page, or copying and pasting the Facebook or LinkedIn URL on your Twitter page.
Website Posting:
AdvisorStream has the ability to post to your website by adding an HTML code snippet to your website's back end. Website posting that is automated through your Social Scheduler may from time to time choose an article that is unable to be shared to your website. Due to the publishing agreements we have with The Wall Street Journal and Barron's their articles can not be shared to a website. They can still be shared to social media and used in newsletters.
